For our work to drive change, it must have influence. Our Insights and Engagement team ensure that outputs become impact. They identify valuable insights, create accessible content and engage via a range of communications channels to ensure that our messaging reaches out to the right stakeholders.
Impact Reporting
Year Four Impact Report
The Decarb Hub's inaugural Impact Report features the activities and impact of our programmes over the July 2023 to June 2024 period, centred on 15 initiatives to drive the safe, sustainable, and human-centric decarbonisation of the maritime industry. This report stands as both a testament to the positive change we aim to drive in the maritime industry and a strategic foundation for how we will continue to evolve, deepen our impact, and engage stakeholders with greater transparency, clarity, and purpose.

Zero Carbon Fuel Monitor
Readiness assessments made by international experts
The Zero Carbon Fuel Monitor appraises the readiness levels of seven key candidate fuels/energy sources across the fuel supply chains from perspectives of technology, investment and community readiness: ammonia, biodiesel (FAME), electrification, hydrogen, methane, methanol, and nuclear energy.

Zero Ready Framework
Assessing the actual readiness of existing fleets and newly built vessels for zero carbon fuels
A five-level framework for assessing the actual readiness of a vessel for the transition to zero carbon fuels, which ranks vessel readiness for zero carbon fuel operations from 1 (highest level of readiness) to 5 (lowest level of readiness), and measured on a well-to-wake basis. The framework has been created to offer clarity around the term ‘readiness’ which is used in multiple ways across the shipping industry.
